Role Overview
Future Talent Arabia, on behalf of our international client, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Certification Engineer to join their team.
This role is crucial for ensuring that flight control systems meet stringent regulatory requirements and safety standards. This role requires precise analysis, testing, and documentation to ensure the airworthiness of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Documentation Review: Conduct thorough reviews of flight control system designs, specifications, and documentation to ensure they comply with regulatory standards.
Certification Planning: Develop and coordinate certification plans with the design team, focusing on the performance and compliance of flight control systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, test pilots, and regulatory bodies, to resolve certification issues and implement necessary modifications.
System-Level Analysis: Apply a solid understanding of system-level analyses, such as fault tree analysis and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA), to evaluate and improve system reliability.
Flight Test Management: Oversee and supervise flight tests to validate the functionality and reliability of flight control systems under various operating conditions.
Certification Documentation: Prepare detailed certification documentation, including reports, technical manuals, and compliance matrices, for submission to regulatory bodies.
Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the certification process.
Note: Responsibilities may be reassigned as needed within the scope of the project.
Essential Skills
Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and certifying flight control systems within the aerospace industry.
Experience with certification processes, including compliance with ARP4754 and ARP4761 standards.
Desirable Skills
Experience in developing and evaluating test requirements
Knowledge of flight characteristics and performance, with the ability to analyze them
Hands-on experience with measurement and data analysis tools
Familiarity with eVTOL vehicle development
Knowledge of system integration and design principles
Some experience with Type Certification (TC) acquisition
Ideal Candidate
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory authorities.
Well-versed in aerospace industry standards, practices, and technologies pertaining to avionics and flight control systems.
Extensive understanding of relevant regulatory standards and certification processes, such as FAA Part 23, Part 25, or equivalent international regulations, is highly preferred.
